Description

A timeless Heriz medallion rug — hand-knotted in rich terracotta, sage, gold, and ivory with the bold geometry that has made this design iconic for centuries.

At the centre sits a commanding stepped medallion in warm gold and rust, framed by angular palmettes and stylised floral motifs in soft sage and cream. The design draws on the centuries-old weaving tradition of north-west Persia, where Heriz rugs are prized for their striking geometry, generous scale, and remarkable durability. Each knot is tied by hand, giving the pile a dense, satisfying weight underfoot.

Warm terracotta grounds and a cool sage border create a palette that feels both classic and contemporary — equally at home anchoring a leather-and-wood living room, warming a hardwood hallway, or centring a study. Choose from three shapes — Rectangle, Round, or Runner — to suit any space.

Hand-knotted fringes at each end are a hallmark of authentic construction, adding a finishing touch that machine-made rugs cannot replicate.
