Description

Hand-knotted pastel Oushak rug in rose, blue and sage wool. Airy Turkish florals in rectangle, round and runner sizes. Made to order worldwide.

A gentle central medallion floats amid open fields of angular palmettes and stylised blooms, inspired by the muted, sun-washed palette of the classic Oushak designs first woven in western Anatolia in the 15th century. The pastel tones and generous negative space give the design a calm, contemporary lightness — the collectable "antique" Oushak look without the darkness. Each rug is hand-knotted in Bhadohi, India — the historic heart of the country's hand-knotting tradition — in lustrous New Zealand wool, giving the pile a soft sheen and a dense, satisfying weight underfoot.

Because the palette is so quiet, this rug is a natural anchor for light, layered interiors — equally at home under a linen sofa, warming a pale bedroom, or running the length of a hallway. Choose from three shapes — Rectangle, Round, or Runner — to suit any space.

Hand-knotted fringes at each end are a hallmark of authentic construction, adding a finishing touch that machine-made rugs cannot replicate.
